Welp! It turns out the bookshelf from the Netherlands that I've been waiting on for over a month now apparently got caught up in some sort of shipping snafu and was returned to the seller. At least I know it didn't get lost in transit, but since she'll have to attempt a second mailing I went ahead and antiqued a different hutch I already had on hand and added all the rest of my finished little paper crafts and bottles to complete the Apothecary. If the bookshelf ever does make it here, I'll just antique the new one and switch them out, assuming it complements the shoppe more appropriately. Here are some pictures of the completed Practical Magic Apothecary Shoppe...finally! And a few with the type of cabinets I plan to try to sell, if I'm lucky: Next up, cross fingers, after months of waiting and building anticipation, I'll have it soon, and can take on the actual Hobbies of Dereham dollhouse refurb!

I'm sad to report that I still do not have the bookshelf that's shipping over from the Netherlands and thus am unable to finish the Practical Magic Apothecary Roombox until such time as I've acquired it. I've got a couple up already just to test the market but I'm not expecting overnight success with this as it seems to me to be pretty saturated with all kinds of fascinating miniatures already. I'm hoping to have the Hobbies dollhouse very shortly and once the Apothecary is complete (assuming I ever get that bookshelf, that is) it should be the last roombox I complete while I purs

The bookshelf I've been waiting on has yet to arrive from the Netherlands. Meanwhile, I've been working on smaller projects, one of which is an update on an earlier post. Remember when I took those staged pictures of the Erna Meyer dolls? Well, here's what I'd hoped to accomplish when taking those shots. I reduced them in size and had them printed adding little frames once cut out. I also used some Internet shots of other Erna Meyer dolls so it will look like an authentic family lives in the house. I took pictures of some of my daughter's art projects and printed those as well. I thought I might place them on the refrigerator or bedroom wall or even just sitting on the art table in one of the children's bedroom. Sort of a nice tribute to my child who will one day take possession of the dollhouse. Speaking of the Hobbies house. Once it is complete (a looooooooong time from now, I would imagine, since I still don't yet have it in my possession), if these
